Beast Trainer's Treasure

I figured I'd put Beast Trainer's Treasure as title coz it was the hardest among all the battles I did today Bleh... so after 2x, I still didn't level. I was hoping I would, but no, 2x ended with my exp bar at 95%. So I used the bicep exerciser for the 2% and swallowed a 3% capsule. =P And...I am really really bored training, and was curious about these quests people on guild chat were talking about, so I went and tried them out. Here are the pictures: Beast Trainer's Treasure (Athens): And like I said earlier, it was the most difficult among the 3 quests I did today. They were level 150 =S, 8 mobs, all respawn and all of them debuffs... blech! Reward was: 5% exp capsule, 3xp potion, and 2 glaze bags. Also did the One-eyed Giant Quest from Rome I wasn't able to take a screenie of the reward though, so not sure if I remember it correctly. It was a 5% capsule. The easiest I did today was the battle with the Persian Envoy. Wasn't able to take screenies though, I forgot. Reward was forget scroll and 3% capsule. That's it. And the next picture has notthing to do with the quests. I just wanted to put that there, as part of the nice things I got for the day. =P

My Compound List

Just wanted to keep a record of which mat I've used for what item, so it'd be easier and more effective for me to make 'em next time. Yeah, I use a lot of books when I compound, I'm lazy and don't want to have to redo stuff. Too lazy to level my alch either. Blech! Some non-compounding friends ask me to compound something for them sometimes, and they expect me to sell it to them at a much lower cost than its market price. I just say no, and they think I'm being selfish. Noooot! It's just too costly for me to make stuff, so I won't be able to sell it to them at a discount, unless I shoulder a chunk of the cost. Yay! A Blue Kung-Fu Suit

So I've tried making a blue kung-fu suit, coz its color looks soo nice. But I've failed twice -.-' I promised myself not to attempt for one again, until I've levelled my superior alch, but I haven't had the time to do that. lately -.-' Today, Sweetie had a surprise for me. He got me a blue kung-fu suit. It's a Christmas gift and I love it =P It took a while coz he had to save up for it, which makes me love it more for the effort =P Update: Made blue moon blades to compliment the suit. =D

Back To Training

It's the new year, and IGG rolled-out a 3-day 2xp event as their new year greeting. Luckily I got training vouchers for 2 characters from the last bell drop event, and I decided to use 'em today. Normally, I'd have equipments on when training. Equipments include weights, that's because Aoi needs to combo with someone else to kill and therefore get good exp. She can't kill alone, unfortunately. To get the best exp out of training island, I'd have to resort to higher level mobs. Aki always gets great training experience at training island. However, it's a different story for Aoi. For Aoi, higher level mob means a big difference in training strategy: Can't wear training equipments --> Can't combo with Aki --> Several hits to kill mob. This is unfortunate. However, I think Aki has always been more unfortunate. She can go higher level mobs, she doesn't need equipments, she kills with a poke. But since Aoi can't kill, and needs help, Aki gets stuck helping her gain exp.

Christmas Gift from Kibou

Christmas 2009, I got a gift from Kibou. It was a drawing (shown below), but a lot of time was put into it. I'd narrate how, but I don't think I can give justice to the amount effort put into it. It's no joke using MS paint to do free-hand drawing. Anyhow, the slides say it all. Just thought it was very special, so I'll share it here. =P (click on the drawing below if you wanna download and see the slides) Hope it brings a smile to your face, the way it did for me.

My Wonderland Army

Heh! After what felt like a century of bursting, I finally have my lucky 8. =P 8 characters, sweet! They are the characters in the picture below. \ 1. Aoi (aoi86) - Water (hybrid) - Knight - I called her aoi coz my favorite color is blue. And I chose water element because it's emblem is blue. And I thought the most awesome skill there is, was revive. =P She was the first character I've made, and she tanks. She's actually a hybrid, got a little bit of STR, just enough to get all skills. but leaning more towards INT. I made her into a knight, since I think it's the more useful job skill for melees who were not made to kill. The only use I have for her in high end quests are tanking, casting knight skill for anti seal effect, and pestling. But I love this character, I can never get rid of her, haha! =P She's got all alchemy skills, and she makes all the equips and armors for all characters. =) I think she'll always be my main character no matter what. =) 2. Aki (aki_hime) - Fire (melee) - Killer - she was the 3rd character I've made. And she's always been with Aoi, acting like a body guard coz aoi can't kill anything on her own. I RBed her as Killer, because that was her main purpose ~ to kill for Aoi. I got her the 2 ultimate killing skills, dragon soul and the job skill for killers, Murder. =P So her resume should be good enough as a killer. I have yet to try fatal blow skill someday. 3. Suki (aoi_suki) - Water (mage) - Priest - This was the 2nd character I've made. Made her right after I've learned waters are better off as mages than melees. I RBed her as priest, but she's actually WIT built, so she's good at sealing. Seer might be good too, but I didn't like the idea of the seer skill. Plus, priests get seal-resist bonus. 4. Honoo (Honoo) - Fire (melee) - Killer - He is built almost the same as aki, but aki's got more WIS. Honoo's got very little WIS, and was created to be the stronger version of Aki, so he's built as a killing machine. It's kinda of challenging to quest using Honoo, since he has limited SP. Can only cast HF + 2 DS and that's about it. He'll be needing SP refilling for the succeeding round. So if I'm questing with Honoo, I need a really good team to help with SP toss spamming. 5. Tomo (Tomoyo) - Fire (mage) - Wit - She was the 5th character I've made. She's exactly the same build as aki, less the AGI and STR be INT. 6. Makka (Makka) - Fire (mage) - Just like Honoo, very little WIS, he would be the more intelligent version of Tomo. Haha! I've used intelligent, because mages use INT. 7. Kyssa (Kyssa) - Earth (mage) - She's WIT built. She's very useful for quests where mobs don't line up well for water's sleep spell. Just like the dragons part of RB. She's my ultimate sealer, so I put up "terrarist" as her nick. She can also deal a good amount of damage, and she's the cutest character among all my characters. 8. Haruu (Haruuhi) - Earth (mage) - She's a tanker type, almost 6K HP. She was the most recent character I've buit. And obviously she was built to tank and be a wall slave in high end quests =P Ohh, well here are pictures I took of 'em all gathered up in one place. Enjoy!

My Wedding Adventure

When version 5 came out, marriage system was also made available, and I decided to give it a try. Lucky I got someone who was willing to do it with me. Let me introduce you to my hubby... tada! Well, he was a long time buddy in-game, sweet and funny. Met him in game around December of 2008 (I think). Would probably be a good RL boyfie, so it was a pleasure getting married. Haha! Anyway, I was just going to share some of the screenies from the wedding. :) I hope you enjoy 'em. I wasn't able to get screenies of the pre-wedding quest. So let me take you straight away to the ceremony. This took place right after the 4-day thanksgiving 2x event. Fun, fun... lots of friends to celebrate the event with. Funnily enough, Hawaiian honeymoons don't only happen in real life, it also happens in-game. Ooo... and a new feature in married couples' tent, my favorite of all 'em additions, the love suite, a.k.a. love cabin. I can just stay here all day everyday, but then I won't gain exp from staying in it, and I can't manufacture even when pets are supposed to be doing manufacturing for me. >.< Hubby and I are not done visiting all the new places yet, but here's a couple of screenies from Rome. =P Finally, best wishes from friends. A Noob's Pet Dilemna

So I got bored with all the manufacturing I've been doing since Monday, and thought I'd dedicate sometime to training my pet. My favorite pet... Elin. LOL they are all still lowbies, all being lv 4x. I brought all my 4 main characters to South Pole for training. Only thing I hate about training at South Pole is that most of my pet equips get destroyed after like a couple or more hours training. And one of Elins' def armor got degraded to usable status. 2 wooden shoes to wearing status, most arm guards destroyed, 1 ox horn hat to wearing, and the other to usable status. I've also had to replace 2 Elins' gun a couple of times within 3 hours. I'd probably have to drop by Oslya again this weekend to stack up on guns/chips. Ugh! I hate shelling out soo much gold to replace pet equips just for this amount of EXP. Later, I'll just get them either sea armors from Egypt, or leather armors from Revive since they're just being used for training. I can't keep compounding them def armors every so often. I've to save those def armors for actual questing. Anyway, I was hoping to get my Elins to somewhere around level 80++. Yesterday, I asked someone about suggestions that'd help Elin level a little bit faster, and my dreams were shattered by his response. "Don't bother with Elin She is weaker than a lv40 Fred even when she is at lv180" Oh no! I've always thought Elin was good for questing, with her Ion Scatter and good constitution, especially because of most of the mob line ups I encounter during quests. She's my best pet... until now. Now what am I supposed to do? Which one's a good pet? I've browsed multiple forum threads for pet suggestions, and I'm like WTH?! all of them made me even more confused. Responses were all to build up one pet -- only to be lambasted by the next person to respond. Awww... I hate myself for being such a noob.

Picnic with Kibou

Just posting one of the pictures I've edited last night. I just want to see all my chars in one place, and that won't be happening in-game, coz all I'd get is lag. I haven't gotten photoshop, so I just used paint. And I'm getting really really tired last night, so I didn't want to go through a per pixel detailed edit. But overall, I still think the picture came out nicely... except for one part of the pic (which I hope doesn't get easily noticed). Topmost wind char guy is not my character that's Kibou, my bestest bestest friend in-game.

One day, while looking for good buys around Kelan, I spotted Kazeto's tent. I decided to sneak in... he wasn't there, and I roamed around his tent while he was away. Nice house, and I'm really jealous of his aether landing craft. One day, I shall have that displayed in my tent as well.
